Are you religious or humanist?
Neither - I'm independent. Your beliefs set the tone. I can include prayers, none at all, or something entirely nature-centred or spiritual.
What is a soul midwife?
A non-medical companion for the dying - offering emotional, spiritual and practical support, plus gentle comfort measures. I work alongside, not instead of, medical care.
Could we include drumming, Reiki, sound bowls or crystals?
Absolutely, if you want them it's your choice.
Do you work with funeral directors?
Yes. I'm happy to be recommended by them or contacted directly by families.
Where do you work?
Central Scotland and Ayrshire as standard; I travel further by arrangement.
Can you help us plan in advance?
Yes, pre-planning and living funerals are beautiful options that reduce stress and ensure wishes are honoured.
